GREEN SMOOTHIES
Available
today is a plethora of information about eating raw foods or live and whole
foods. Below is my version of incorporating more greens, living and whole foods
into my daily routine. It provides me with a power packed meal that lasts for
hours. Enjoy!
Green Smoothies
(Minimum 4-5
days week/drink 1 per day)
1
tsp. Vita-Mineral
Green (work up to 1-2 TBSP)
½
to 1 scoop Sun
Warrior Raw Rice Protein
1
tsp. Earth
(optional)
1
tsp. Fruits
of the Earth (optional)
1
small Avocado
(optional: hunger stays away longer)
1
tsp. Nutritional
Flaked Yeast
Fruit
50% - ideally 30% (berries, banana, pear, peach, etc.)
Veggies
50% - ideally 70% (kale, parsley, celery, chard, dandelion, etc.)
To
desired consistency - Coconut
Water or Pure Water
In
a blender or vita-mix:
Add
1 cup of water or coconut water (stay away from juices) then add in your fruit
and veggies and blend well. Add the Vita-Mineral Greens, optional powders,
nutritional yeast and protein powder, blend. You may need to add more water.
Lastly, add the avocado and slightly blend.
