It isn't any wonder that over the counter drugs such as antacids, laxatives and products for heartburn, constipation and diahrerr1a is a multi-billion dollar industry. The industry has grown so big that there are even children's relief formulas!
The pharmaceutical industry had to get in on this big money and create a "magic pill" for relief. They name a disease such as "Acid-reflux" and pour tons of money into advertising to get you to buy into their "solution".
So many of these physical ailments can be relieved by changing diet and lifestyle to include more whole, raw foods and eliminating processed foods that are high in calories and low in nutrients. Get rid of sugar and bad fats. Begin adding probiotics and good fiber into your daily routine.
A very
simple solution to assist in digestion: take 1 tsp. raw organic apple cider
vinegar, add to 3-4oz. water and drink just before eating a meal.
The Eight Stages of Degenerative Disease
1st Stage of Degenerative Disease- Digestive
stress
The first cycle of degeneration begins with stress to the digestive system. This is caused by modern lifestyle; for example over-processed/fast foods and drinks, environmental toxins such as pesticides and herbicides, food grown on depleted soils from modern farming practices, irregular eating habits, negative emotional states, lack of exercise, Rx medications and more.
Indicators: indigestion, gas, bloating, acid reflux, constipation or diarrhea, mild joint stiffness, headaches. These are the beginnings of chronic degenerative disease.
2nd Stage of Degenerative Disease-
Intestinal stress
When we overload the digestive process, we
compromise elimination. And when we compromise elimination, toxins start to
accumulate. Think about how toxic of an environment we live in, and then we add
to them the toxins from a weakened digestive system because we choose to not
take the care we should with our diet, now we really put the pressure on the
rest of the G.I. tract. A weakened or over stressed G.I. tract slows down and
backs up. The longer it takes for food to move
through the intestines, the longer toxins sit fermenting and putrefying.
The colon's ability to function will be severely affected by the amount of putrefied waste that has accumulated. If the colon is not properly cared for, it will accumulate toxins that will continually be re-absorbed into the bloodstream and be carried throughout the entire body reducing liver function and adding stress to the kidneys, respiratory tract, and skin.
Indicators: excess mucous and congestion, gas, bloating, constipation or diarrhea. Bowel movements are a good indicator of one's overall health. If one does not have at least one bowel movement each day, the likelihood for future disease is greatly increased.
3rd Stage of Degenerative Disease- Liver
stress
As a result of over-stressed and weakened digestive
and eliminative systems, the liver, our body's primary filtration organ that
protects the body becomes overwhelmed.
The liver is the major organ that ties in to all the other systems. And those of you who have taken the Bio-Plene and have experienced the lethargy and some type of re-tracing experience, that's a good indication that your liver is compromised and the major protector in the body is not fully operational. The liver is the first line of defense as far as filtration of the poisons that get released into the bloodstream and the lymphatic system from digestion via the intestines.
Indicators: Allergies, PMS, early menopause, poor digestion of fats and fried foods, moderate joint stiffness, slow repair from common injuries, over all loss of well-being.
4th Stage of Degenerative Disease-
Secondary filtration (kidney) system stress
As the primary organ of filtration (liver) becomes overwhelmed, the secondary organs of filtration the kidneys become overworked and stressed.
The kidneys are small organs; however they process approximately 200 quarts of blood every day in an effort to sift out waste products and extra water. The kidneys receive blood and then process the blood by removing the wastes. Then the processed blood is returned to the body and the eliminated substances stay in the urine. Urine flows from the kidneys into the bladder, where it is stored until excretion from the body through the urethra.
Indicators: Acne and other skin conditions, lower back pain (near kidneys), lung congestion, bronchial conditions, blood sugar and mineral imbalances, and the beginning of pH imbalances.
5th Stage of Degenerative Disease-
Terrain/Tissue Imbalance
As the filtration organs become overwhelmed, we now experience an over flow of toxins into the terrain. The tissue integrity of the body is compromised as the body begins using the bones, muscles, fat and nervous system as toxin storage centers. This toxicity results in a loss of pH balance, lack of oxygenation to the tissue, poor circulation resulting in the inability to eliminate toxins and further mal-absorption of essential nutrients.
Indicators: Lack of endurance, low energy, depression, poor concentration, irritability, loss of skin and body tone, poor circulation cold hands and feet.
6th Stage of Degenerative Disease- Microbial
proliferation
Viruses, bacteria and yeast (microbial scavengers) thrive in compromised terrain with high levels of dead and toxic substances. Such terrain conditions further interfere with the body's overall state of well-being by causing more microbial scavengers to proliferate their toxic waste products that create a whole new set of symptoms and unwanted warning signs. At this level genetic weaknesses or predispositions begin to appear.
Indicators: Progressive negative down turn in overall health condition with any combination of low energy levels, poor concentration, hypersensitivity, mood shifts, more frequent colds and infections, stronger signs of indigestion, yeast and fungal infections, mental fog, migraines and sleep disorders, multiple areas of pain, multiple systems breakdown.
7th Stage of Degenerative Disease- Inflammation/
chronic degeneration
With the accumulation of many levels of stress or degeneration, the body goes into a heightened state of alert. This is expressed as chronic inflammation. This can be experienced by redness, swelling and pain and is an indication the immune system is in overdrive. Chronic inflammation is the underlying cause for chronic conditions that lead to a degenerative or clinical diagnosis.
Indicators: Inflammation experienced with chronic pain, significant plaque builds up in the arteries, severe joint pain and stiffness and degenerative issues progressing toward advanced disease states like autoimmune disease.
8th Stage of Degenerative Disease-
Advanced Chronic Degenerative Disease
At this stage, the body's inability to compensate for compounding stressors results in multiple systems failures, abnormal tissue development, massive cell die-off and the vital forces shutting down. This can be life threatening if not resolved or treated appropriately. This requires medical intervention and professional supervision.
Indicators: Advanced chronic
degenerative states leading to life threatening illnesses.
Remember that all the symptoms just mentioned are
nothing more than the body's effort to return to balance. This is an example of
the power and energy within. Disease is not "bound to happen." It can
be overcome if there is a willingness to eliminate all of the aforementioned
abuses and maintain a disciplined adherence to a diet of life-giving foods;
supplements and permanent life changing habits will bring a variety of positive
effects. Granted, the effect on your particular conditions largely depends upon
the current extent of degeneration of affected vital organs. However, if
sufficient life energy remains, the chance for rejuvenation is great enough to
warrant a change.
